Bodhakudu

Psalm 27:4 says,  “One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord.” Today, we do not have a physical temple in the same sense as Israel did, because God now dwells within us by His Spirit—we are His temples. Yet sadly, we often fail to do this  one thing  that David desired above all:  to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord —to worship Him, adore Him, and glorify Him with undivided hearts. We are busy with many good things: working, visiting others, preaching, serving, and helping. These are all valuable and God-honoring. But we often neglect the  primary  thing, the  one  thing that gives life and meaning to all the rest.   ఒక పట్టణంలో ఒక సంఘం ఉండింది. ఆ సంఘంలో చాలా మంది ఉన్నారు కానీ, సంఘ పరిచర్యలో పెద్దగా ఎవ్వరూ పాల్గొనేవారు కాదు. చాలా సార్లు పాస్టర్ గారు వాక్యం నుండి బోధించినా ప్రజలు వాక్యానికి లోబడకపోయేవారు. వాక్యం పట్ల అవగాహన ఉంది కానీ, సంఘం పట్ల ఆసక్తి లేకపోవడం వల్ల వారికి ఒక పాఠం నేర్పించాలని పాస్టర్ గారు ఆదివారం ఈ ప్రకటన చేశారు. "వచ్చే ఆదివారం మనకు ప్రత్యేక కూడిక ఉంటుంది. మనం సంఘం చచ్చిపోయింది, ఆ రోజు మన సంఘాన్ని మనం పాతిపెట్టబోతున్నాము. తప్పకుండా సంఘ అంత్యక్రియలకు హాజరవ్వాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేస్తున్నాను". సంఘానికొచ్చే ప్రజలు ఆశ్చర్యపోయారు. అదేంటి సంఘం చనిపోవడం ఏంటి ? అసలు ఏం జరిగింది? ఏం జరుగబోతుంది? అనే ప్రశ్నలు వారి మనసుల్లో కలిగాయి. ఆ ప్రశ్నలతోనే ఆదివారం అందరూ వచ్చారు. వారిలో కొందరు, కూడిక తర్వాత భోజనం చేసి వెళ్లొచ్చు అనుకుని కూడా వచ్చారు.  స్టేజి ముందు ఒక చక్కగా అలంకరించబడిన శవపేటిక ఉంచబడింది. పాస్టర్ గారు నిలబడి " ఈ ప్రత్యేక కూడికకు వచ్చినందుకు కృతజ్ఞతలు. మనం సంఘం చచ్చిపోయింది. మన సంఘాన్ని ఎవరు చంపారో మీకు చూపిస్తాను. ఒక్కొక్కరు వచ్చి మీ ముందు పెట్టబడిన శవపేటికలో చూడండి, మీకే తెలు...
